Several of our volunteers have been working on value-add products that we decided should be available to members only. Shameless promotion: If you are not yet a member, these offerings provide more incentives for you to join. Simply enter the following URL, http://www.ispi-dc.org, and select Join Us! from the left-side menu.

As I mentioned during last month's message, Mark Boccia, our Learning Technology Chair, videotapes our in-person sessions. Dan Elbert, who is on our Learning Technology Committee, recorded September's webinar with Rick Rummler. Igor Saracevic, also on the Learning Technology Committee, takes photos during our live sessions.

Moreover, the presenters for our face-to-face meetings have generously provided their slide presentations to us for posting. We are very grateful to have access to this proprietary information and trust our members will honor copyright principles seeking permission from these experts to use any part of their ideas or materials.

And, our fabulous web meister, John Faucher, works with everyone to ensure the recordings, slides, and photos are posted.

Also, we post job opening when they are provided to us. We have many positions listed—several as recent as two weeks ago. Even if you are not a member, please send us your job postings so that you have access to the brightest and best possible candidates. If you are seeking a job, this service provides another reason for you to join our chapter.

If you are a member, here are the directions for accessing the Job Listings and Program Videos sites.

  • On the left-side menu of the homepage (http://www.ispi-dc.org/), select Membership Login.
  • On the Membership Login page, enter your email address as your username.
  • If you don't know your password, select Forgot your password?
  • Your password will be sent to your email address.
  • After you get your password, you go back to the Membership Login page, enter your email address as your username and enter your password.
  • The Membership List - Admin Only page appears.
  • Select Job Listings or Program Videos from the left-side menu.
